For the second week in a row the Blueys firsts were given a lesson in footy by a far superior opposition, this time it was Mosman who crushed us 66-10 at the track. The first twenty minutes or so we were making good headway and it looked like the previous weeks effort against Drummoyne was just a hiccup, but as the comp leaders went up a gear we were unable to go with them.In the second half in particular, their speed, set play, and mountain of possesion was awesome and they at times seemingly scored at will.As Gav said at the speeches after the last two weeks we know where we are and where we should be,hopefully its a learning curve we can build on,and bounce back starting with Colleagues in a fortnights time.We were beaten by a bloody good side,we are still in third spot, and while the scoreboard didnt look good, there were still plenty of positives, none greater that the form of the man of the match Steve (The Italian Stallion) Lenoci,he was just all class and never gave up in a well beaten side, while prop Graham Kondek just doesnt know how to play a bad game.

The second grade also saw us looking good early, but it didnt last too long as the unbeaten Mosman switched on proved to be too good on the day runnng away with a 39-20 victory which pushes the Blueys down to fourth spot.In the final wash up we were beaten by a very good Rugby team, but the boys tried all the way, half back Solomona Silipa was outstanding, while spanner was also inspirational, and one of the match highlights was a late classic wingers try in the clubhouse corner to Harry (Whispering Death) Kirkwood, the end result of some classic rugby in the lead up.

Mosmans red hot colts side showed the young Blueys how to played structured Rugby and doing so handed out a 57-0 thrashing.Mountains had no answer to this Rugby machine in a match which the home team would rather forget. In the beaten side winger Malachi Monahan was a stand out all over the paddock as was Cooper Mclean and the ever reliable Jared Cremona.

Thirds surged to the top of the table with a solid 24-10 win,in a match in which the forwards set a great platform again. Will Hannen ( no longer a Rugby player with the male model looks) savaged the Mosman pack all day,and of course first time prop, tough as teak Paul Danby ,excelled in his first ever appearance in the front row, although his scrummaging shoulders got a workout and post match he was struggling to hold a beer!..however,while the game was won up front number 10 Lachie McNichol was an inspiration at fly half, and his brilliance and organizational skills converted the forwards efforts into positive results to play a major role in the win.

Fourths run of losses continued when beaten by undefeated comp leaders Mosman 22-7,and while beaten, they lost no friends with all players on then paddock trying their best all day to stem the tide.Loosey Tom Graham was once again in brilliant form, and got great support from the likes of Luke Ramms and try scoring sensation Andrew Key.

In a high quality game of Sutherland Cup 5ths were just beaten again 15-10.Mosman scored an early converted try,the exchanges in the forwards were tough and hard, with eventually Cameron Apps scoring in the corner to make it a two point match at the break. The Blueys finally hit the front when Rones scored after a sensational 20 plus phase lead up,but a silly penalty conceeded and a try gave Mosman a five point lead which try as they might the gutsy mountain goats could not overcome.Plenty of solid efforts on the day Rones showed his class, big games from Vaughn,Dayne,Lachie Smith,Ash,and of course Wade Murphys talent and experience was invaluable.
