Ended round one on an awesome note with a ten try romp thrashing Lindfield 66-29 to move into third spot and set the scene for this Saturdays big game against undefeated leaders Forest. In the first half Mountains played exciting Rugby their lineout was superb and while the home teams pack gave us some hurry up for a while the boys up front lifted and overcame the challenge. The second half saw the team lose a bit of momentum but being in front by over 40 points at the break makes it hard to get focused to go on with the job but we still managed to score some great tries in the second fourty minutes. Joel Togo was in magic form Sai was at his exciting best Jaiden played with commitment and passion Linfield had no idea what Krolly was going to do next and of course Ellis continues to play some of the best Rugby of his Blueys career.

Still on top of the table despite losing their first game of the season going down 14-12.The Blueys side had to battle the odds all the way and while they only had themselves to blame for too much dropped ball in the first half much of the game they were starved of the pill by both the opposition and the man in the middle .While Eamon put in a sensational effort to run down the Lindfield winger and the cruel result was from the play after this they scored their winning try and converted to sneak home. Gutsy effort by the boys and while there were plenty of heroes, none more than George who gave all indications that our Rugby machine president is well on the way back to his best his second round footy should be something to look forward to.

Any stranger walking on to Lindfield Oval to watch the colts would have found it hard to understand that this was a match between two top four sides as Lindfield thumped the young Blueys 52-14. It was just one of those games when nothing went right and the harder they tried the worse it seemed to get. Highlights of an effort best forgotten was the great game played by Corey Lock the contribution of Liam Branley while the small bloke with the huge heart and footy ability Leif was also worthy of mention.

On the back of a mighty game from Dave Thomas maintained their top of the table with a tradesman like 14-0 win over contenders Lindfield. The "Silver Fox" was in superb touch tackled without fault all game and made huge inroads in attack meanwhile others to impress were the unstoppable Childs brothers machine as usual Paul Danby was sold and classy and it was great to see Pinno creating havoc in his comeback game.

After last week’s less than exciting display the fourths turned in a powerhouse dominating effort to defeat the competition leaders 19-10 in a very important result. While it was a real team effort few could deny the match could have been called the "Brendan Bull Show" as the exciting number nine slayed them from start to finish not only producing what many describe as the individual try of the year so far but also inspired his team to lift themselves to overcome the pre-match favourites with an abundance of passion and the ability to dominate with ease.
