2017 Barraclough Cup Medal Winner

Congratulations to Joel Togo for being named the 2017 Barraclough Medal

Joels Rugby career started at schoolboy level playing number 8 for Penrith Christian College,he then headed up to Lapstone Oval and played juniors with the Blue Tongues, before progressing to the colts where his ability was identified, and he played two seasons of Rep Rugby with the Subbies colts squad. He was then first grade bound in the centres, and using a delicate mixture of natural Rugby talent, above average fitness, great line speed, and of course is  a dominate force in every Barraclough Cup fixture he plays, renowned for his line running and tackle busts, and bruising defence. The quietly spoken 22 year old Finance Broker has had a huge year in the top grade with Blue Mountains in 2017 ,gaining the respect of both his teamates, the opposition and the referees as well, and there is little doubt,if he chose to,he has the ability and mindset to go onto bigger things in Rugby.
